Job description We are seeking an experienced & friendly Front Desk Receptionist.
The candidate needs to have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks; strong attention to detail; effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Duties - Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Verify insurance and patient information and update records in medical office software - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Collect copays, deductible, outstanding balance, etc - Administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Keep the reception & waiting areas clean and organized Skills - Proficiency in using phone systems to handle incoming calls, take messages, address patient concerns - Experience working with medical office software; we use Practice Fusion - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records and processing payments Hours:
M-F; two full days, three half days (occasionally one extra full instead of the half day).
No weekends Job Types:
