CISC CISC Burleson, TX Burleson, TX Full-time Full-time $65,000 - $70,000 a year $65,000 - $70,000 a year 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Responsibilities Oversee and direct construction projects Review the project in-depth to schedule materials Oversee all construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory Meet contractual conditions of performance Review the work progress on a daily basis Internal and external communication pertaining to job status Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques Work closely with Project Manager and contractor to identify and establish project's tools, materials and professionals needed to achieve goals.
Provide leadership and guidance to the field crew throughout the building process Keep daily contractor logs and monitor the conduct of each one of them.
May liaise with local authorities to obtain licenses and permits for the project.
Prepare reports on the project.
Vendor/Subcontractor relations/management Municipality relations/management Attention to safety and cleanliness Team oriented approach with sales team toward customer needs Materials management Have fun and be enthusiastic Skills Proven working experience in construction management Ability to read and understand construction plans Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously Ability to plan and see the big picture Competent in conflict and crisis management Excellent time management skills Computer literate - Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Degree preferred but not required Excellent understanding of plans and specifications Excellent understanding of commercial construction techniques Good knowledge of building codes Understanding of OSHA & EPA Have or willing to acquire OSHA30 Bi-lingual required Job Type:
